Wellery Farms is a Residential Recovery Community located on a 175-acre farm in Oxford, Mississippi that will break ground in January 2023.
Wellery Farms is a project with a purpose, founded by Paige York, in loving memory of her beloved big brother, Bennett York, Jr. who lost his prolonged battle with mental illness in 2013. Paige wants to turn her family’s unimaginable tragedy into a mission to foster new paradigms to treat substance abuse disorders and trauma. Paige’s personal quest is also to destigmatize mental illness and break the heartbreaking cycle of devastation for other families.
Wellery Farms’ mission is to transform and save lives through an integrated holistic approach to the treatment of trauma and substance use disorders in a healing, farm-based environment that leads to sustained long-term recovery and well being.
Building on her lifelong career in placemaking, Paige created the concept for Wellery Farms, which is now in the design and development phase. At Wellery Farms, our holistic, integrative approach to recovery will focus on the whole person — body, mind, soul and spirit. We will incorporate varied and numerous therapeutic modalities based on an individual’s needs. These options include traditional evidence-based treatment woven together with alternative, cutting-edge therapies to create a well-rounded treatment program. At Wellery Farms, we will do more than just treat symptoms – instead we will seek to uncover the root cause lying behind addiction, such as past trauma, abuse or mental illness – in order to truly heal individuals so they can find true meaning, passion and purpose in life.
