Idaho Pole

Idaho Pole is a proposed 36-acre mixed-use, light-industrial campus in Bozeman, Montana closely located to the charm and allure of Main Street and the eclectic Northeast Neighborhood.

The vision for Idaho Pole’s vertical development has been jointly formulated by York Developments and Brian Caldwell of ThinkTank Design Group. Idaho Pole will be a community of creatives and creators. A diverse ecosystem where emerging brands and established ones, artisans and entrepreneurs meet, connect and cross-pollinate across industry lines. As a former brownfield site, Idaho Pole epitomizes revitalization with its central focus on community. The unique design is centered around social interaction at every turn – a place where ideas are born and visions are realized.

The innovative building design also incorporates Idaho Pole's trail system that ties into Bozeman’s existing “Mainstreet to the Mountains” trail system that winds up the structure to a green roof terrace where the trail then crosses the entirety of the building then descends to the south where it connects to the existing trail network.

The massing of the structure allows the landscape to be lifted to create an urban canopy where people can enjoy Bozeman’s panoramic, majestic views.
